How CASER stores data on your device, security practices, third-party services, and your privacy rights.

Local-first storage

No account is required. Search queries, keyword monitors, saved cases, search history, and Atticus conversation history are stored locally on your device.

Uninstalling the app removes local data. You can erase data from within Settings at any time.

Security

  • TLS 1.3 for network requests to court feeds and services.
  • iOS Keychain for sensitive data with strong encryption.
  • Local storage protected by iOS data protection APIs.
  • No sale of personal information to third parties for marketing.

Third-party services

  • Google Gemini AI processes Atticus questions (see Privacy Policy).
  • Apple provides push notification delivery when enabled.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, or export of personal data where applicable. Contact rights@caserlegal.com for privacy requests. California residents have additional rights under CCPA as described in the Privacy Policy.
